How does a pipe develop?
Here I show you the most important design steps from my workshop.
1. Drafting the pipeshape onto the grinded Bruyere block 
2. Sawing the pipe outlines with the belt saw 
3. Drilling the bore of the tobacco chamber with of a special drill 
4. Working at the coarser edges of the pipe head with the plate grinder 
5. Refining the shape with the belt grinder 
6. Pre-turning the mouthpiece 
7. Final polishing of the pipe 
8. Engraving the stem with my signature mark “Reiner Thilo”
